A COIL WITH CHARACTER
More than a pile of sand.
A wonderfully odd design with a surprisingly practical purpose.
Meet the Sand Snake Pokémon
-
A built-in shield
The thick pouch around its neck cushions its head and holds more than 220 pounds of sand.
-
Under pressure
It blasts sand and sharp gravel from its nose. A full pouch gives it confidence; an empty one leaves it timid.

Our kind of weird · A fan’s take
That sleepy stare. Those improbable coils. We think Pokémon’s strangest designs can be its most lovable.
