Gigantamax Sandaconda towers at 22 metres or more, surrounded by a vast spinning mass of sand.

Its Ground-type attacks become a move that traps opponents and deals continuing damage for four to five turns.
This form belongs to Pokémon Sword & Shield. Gigantamax is a temporary battle transformation, rather than another evolution.
A different kind of encounter
The official Sword & Shield site describes Gigantamax Pokémon as rare Max Raid Battle encounters. Finding an ordinary Sandaconda is not a guarantee of finding this form.
